Saturday 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm Basic 7:30 pm- 9:00 pm Advanced and Members If you come to participate, there is a $2.00 charge that is a studio fee. PerformanceAwa Odori Tokushima Ren performs annually at many public cultural events in the Japanese American Community. We are available to perform at private functions as well like business openings, parties, weddings, non-Japanese events, media presentations or fundraising events. Fees are negotiable. WorkshopsMachiko Fujii, the artistic director of the group is available to teach or demonstrate individually. She is available for travel. Workshops are designed for school children and adults of community organizations. Workshops can be done within a few hours or can extend several days. Large Workshops requiring more than the artistic director is possible. Fees are negotiable. Please complete the "Contact us" form and indicate as much as possible the scope of the workshop indicating the date, location and participants.
Membership
Awa Odori Tokushima Ren is a membership organization. Members are dance participants and those who are not dancers but have a interest in Awa Odori. New students do not have to become members but performing students are Members. Currently about 30 members belong to Awa Odori Tokushima Ren. Our annual membership fee is $20 per individual. Tokushima-ren is supported by membership fees, volunteer work and donations. To become a member, please submit your contact information using the "Contact us" form.
DonationsContributions from businesses and individuals is the lifeblood of the organization.
Monetary gifts go to building and supporting the group's need for equipment and travel expenses. We do not have paid staff. Everyone volunteers their time. We are a 501-(C)(3) Non-profit organization, membership and donations are tax deductible. Please complete the "Contact us" form and we will contact you.
