Next Saturday, July 16, we are performing at Seicho no Ie carnival in Gardena.  It should be fun but hot.  Not sure if we are performing inside or outside.  Some of our members can't perform on Saturday. We will be great anyways.

On Sunday, we had a great time at Zenshuji even though the weather was really hot. Performing in the hot sun is not the best of conditions although the organizers had carpet on the floor of the performance area. Our feet did not roast.  Everyone in the dance troupe were in good spirits and had fun.  Chihiro also did some dancing for the "Random Ninjas," a hip hop band. She's good !    BTW; If you're interested in dancing with us, we are looking for new members. We could always use a few more. It adds to the festive feeling.

Today, Saturday, is a day before our performance at Zenshuji Soto Mission. I'm so excited. We will perform on Sunday, July 10th at 4:20pm. I'm going to miss tonight's Obon odori at Nishi Hongwanji and Zenshuji Soto Mission. We have a rehearsal tonight. I hope everyone shows up at the rehearsal !
